1.TO REGULATE BLOOD PRESSURE VIA THE RELEASE OF RENIN.

2.TO REGULATE THE VOLUME , COMPOSITION AND PH OF THE BODY FLUIDS (INCLUDES MECHANISMS LEADING TO THE FORMATION OF URINE).

3.REMOVE METABOLIC WASTES FROM THE BLOOD AND EXCREATE FROM OUTSIDE THE BIDY.

4.TO CONTROL RET OF RED BLOOD CELL FORMATION BY SECRATING THE HORMONE ERYTHROPOIETIN.

2. Extraction of nitrogenous waste products.

3. Adjustment of Na+ ,k+ and cl- concentration.

4 . Regulations of acids base balance. i.e. ph of body fluids.

5. Regulations of composition of blood with respect to salts and waters content.

6. Removal of excess of foreign substance like drug and pigments.
