NERVE CELL
Neurons are the structural and functional units of the nervous system. They transmit electrical signals, called nerve impulses. Glial cells provide support for neurons. For example, they provide neurons with nutrients and other materials.
CHROMOSOMES
Chromosomes facilitate proper cell division and replication. The main function of the chromosome is to fit the DNA inside the nucleus. As we all know, that our DNA is too long, if we unwind all the DNA of a cell, it is up to 2 meters in length.
