Function of Vacuoles :-

  • > vacuoles play important role in expelling excess water and some waste from cell in some unicellular organism .

  • > they store toxic metabolic by products or end products of cell .

  • > they provide turgidity and rigidity to plants or animals

Function of Mitochondria :-

  • > mitochondria are the site of respiration

  • > Mitochondria provides energy in the form of ATP for vital activities of plants and animals .

  • > They provide intermediates for synthesises of various chemical like amino acids , fatty acids etc
