All angiosperms have stamen that acts as the male reproductive organs. The carpel is the female reproductive organ in all the angiosperm. They have highly developed tissues for the transportation of food and water. Some examples of angiosperms are tulips, roses and magnolia trees.

The general characteristics of angiosperms are the following:

a) All angiosperms have flowers at some stage in their life and have stamens.

b) Angiosperms have much lower female reproductive parts than non flowering plants allowing them to produce the seeds very quickly.

For example:Roses, tulips and tomatoes.
