The general form of a linear equation is :

ax + by + c = 0

We can write 3x + 4y = 24 as,

3x + 4y - 24 = 0

(to bring the equation to the general form)

3x + 4y - 24 = 0

In this linear equation,

a = 3 , b = 4 and c = (-24)

Hope it's helpful ✌️
