The greatest and smallest number using digits 1, 0, 6, and 2 are 6210 and 0126.

Given,

Four digits: 1, 0, 6, and 2.

To Find,

The greatest and smallest number using the given digits.

Solution,

The method of finding the greatest and smallest number using the given digits is as follows -

To form the greatest number we will find the largest digit among the digits 1, 0, 6, and 2 i.e. 6. Then among the remaining digits 1, 0, and 2, we will again find the largest digits i.e. 2. In this way, among the remaining digits we can find the largest digit 2 and then 1.

Now if we arrange the digits in the above arrangements, the greatest number will be 6210.

To form the smallest number, we will find the smallest digit among 1, 0, 6, and 2 i.e. 0. Then among the remaining digits 1, 2, and 6, the smallest digit is 1. In this way, among the remaining digits the smallest digit is 2 and then 6.

Now if we arrange the digits in the above arrangements, the smallest number will be 0126.

Hence, the greatest and smallest number using digits 1, 0, 6, and 2 are 6210 and 0126.
