Given:

The digits = 6, 4, 0, 8, 7,  9

To Find:

The greatest six digit number formed by the digits

The smallest six digit number formed by the digits

The sum of these numbers

The difference of the numbers

Solution:

Digits = 6, 4, 0, 8, 7,  9

Greatest six digit number = 987640

Smallest six digit number = 406789

Now,

Sum of the numbers -

987640 + 406789

= 1394429

Difference of the numbers -

= 987640 - 406789

= 580851
