the rashtrakutas control the Deccan and territories in North and South India at different time .they moved towards the north many times to fight with the pratiharas for control over Gujarat and Maharashtra .
Dantidurga was the founder of the rashtrakutas dynasty. He was a feudatory chief of the chaluskas. As the chalukyas Kingdom the declined, he declared himself as independent King. Govind the |||(793-814),Amoghavarsha(814-874), and Krishna || (934-963) were the other well-known rashtrakutas rulers.
