(a) The introduction of Green Revolution helped the farmers in raising their level of income. Wiser farmers ploughed back their surplus income for improving agricultural productivity. This led to further improvement in agriculture.

(b) The ever-green revolution took roots because it is a win win situation both for the farmers and the population. Aims to improve household food security by providing subsidised food grains as a legal entitlement to over 67% of Indian citizens. Priority households are entitled to 5 kgs of foodgrains/person/ month.

(c) Green revolution had also positive economic results. ... The use of chemical fertilizers depletes the soils natural fertility and pesticides generates resistant pests farmers need more fertilizers and pesticides to achieve the same results.
