Latitudinal extent means India’s vertical extent ( i.e. from Northern end to southern end) Latitudinal extent = 8º4‛N to 37º6‛ N
Longitudinal extent means India’s hirizontal extent (i.e. from Western end to Eastern End) Longitudinal extent = 68º7‛E to 98º25‛ E
