French Revolution had a significant impact in the history of France as:

1.) It gave women the confidence they needed to become equal to men by allowing formation of women's clubs , they were given compulsory education so that they can become skilled and get trained for jobs, they could also now applpy for divorce in the court, forced marriage was banned in France.

2.) It gave Constitution for the first time to men in France , this helped them gain a lot as no other country by 1791 was looking towards forming democracy, It had impact even in other countries  , they were worried about the developments france was making in terms of democracy.

3.) The French Revolutions also inspired the ideals of liberty,equality and fraternity.

It was the first revolution that denied monarchy completely, was based upon human rights. It preached equality and freedom for all people. Moreover, there was a realisation of novel concept of strict regulation of market.

Also it affected thinking and understanding of history, made all monarchies vulnerable. It reflected rational and modern concepts of ruling (these words are used in philosophical meaning, so it's not good/bad)

It was an example of secular concepts in a state.

Many of aforementioned phenomena were novel for that time.
