The Ho Chi Minh trail was a network of footpaths and roads to transport men and material from North Vietnam extending into South Vietnam. The mode of conveyance were trucks and more often porters who were generally women. There were support bases, hospitals on the way.It symbolises the way Vietnamese used their limited resources to their advantage in their war against US.
