important factors that can format the soil are-

1 Climate- It is one of the importance factors in the formation because it affects the rate of weathering of parent rock

2 Parent materials- Deposited by streams or derived from insitu weathering these soil come with many properties like mineral composition,color,particle size, chemical elements

3 Role of temperature- Any change in temperature cause shrinking and swelling,frost action and general weathering in soil. Hence, temperature is said to play a vital role in soil formation
