Autotrophs
- Autotrophs are organisms that can produce their own food, using materials from inorganic sources. For this reason, autotrophs are often called “producers".
heterotrophs
- Heterotrophs are organisms which cannot prepare their own food and depend upon producers or green plants and other animals for their food.
Insectivorous plants
- Insectivorous plants mostly obtain their nutrition by trapping and consuming animals, particularly insects. Example - Venus flytrap.
