Let the integer be x.

Its additive inverse is -x

Acc. to problem

x is 2 less than (-x)

=> x = -x - 2

=> 2x = -2

=> x = -1

x can be -1

1 is its additive inverse

Let the integer = x

It's additive inverse = -x

according to the problem given,

(-x)-x = 2

=> -2x = 2

=> x = 2/(-2)

=> x = -1

Therefore,

Required integer(x) = -1

It's additive inverse= 1
