Let the integer be x.

Then, its additive inverse = -x

We know to find the difference between larger and smaller number. We subtract smaller number from larger number.

Here, x is larger number and -x is smaller number.

x-(-x) = 4

=> x+x = 4

=> 2x = 4

=> x =4/2

=2

Hence the integer is 2 which is 4 more than its additive inverse -2.
