Isothermal process occurs when the temperature value of the system remains constant.

Equation for an ideal gas in isothermal condition is as follows:

P = nRT / V  

P is Pressure

V is Volume

N is no. of moles of gas

R is Ideal gas constant

T is temperature

Here, nRT is constant.

Therefore, PV = constant.

For an ideal gas, when the change is temperature is zero, the change in internal energy is also zero.
