IUPAC name :

Step 1 : First see the chain if it is branched straight or a ring . Here it is straight chain without branch.

Step 2 : Then number the carbon atoms . Start the numbering from the carbon with unctional group. Here the numbering is :

CH_3 - CH_2 - CH_2 - CH_2 - OH

4⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀3⠀⠀⠀⠀2⠀⠀⠀⠀1

Step 3 : Seeing the number of carbons put the prefix. Here there are 4 carbons , which give the prefix "But" (pronounced as "bute")

Step 4 : See where are the double and tripple bonds , to specify in the name . Here all are single bonds . Then the suffix "an" is added to the prefix of carbon

Step 5 : Then see the functional group and write the suffix . Here the functional group OH gives the suffix "ol"

Step 6 : Combine all and get the IUPAC name , here it is but + an + ol = butanol
