Law of conservation of chemical combination is devided into 2 parts law of conservation of mass &law of constant proportion. Law of conservation of mass states that a mass of a matter an neither be created nor be destroyed in a chemical reaction & Law of constant proportion states that 2 or more atoms of an element combine together in an equal proportion

weather we take that compound from anywhere. For eg hydrogen(H) & oxygen (O) combine in ratio of 1:8 to form water(H2O) irrespective of the water we take from.

French chemist, Antoine Lavoisier in 1789, studied this law. This law states that “In all physical and chemical changes, the total mass of the reactants is equal to that of the products” or “Mass can neither be created nor destroyed.”
