# KEPLER'S LAW OF PLANETARY MOTION #

Basically, there are three laws. (as per the syllabus of class 9, CBSE)

1. First law states that the orbit of a planet is an ellipse with the Sun at one of the two foci.

2. Second law states that the line segment joining a planet and the Sun sweeps out equal areas during equal intervals of time.

3. r³ = t²

where, r stands for radius

and, t stands for time taken.

ii) a radius vector joining any planet to the sun swept out equal areas in equal length and time .

iii) the square of the sideral pirates of the planet or directly proportional to the planet to the cubes of their mean distance from the Sun .
