I happen to know a girl who was attacked by few goons while travelling alone in our society. As you know this is not the first case, similar incidents happened before during the past few months.Our society has has been experiencing an increased number of crime. Crimes against children and women, theft cases etc. have increased extensively.

This tremendous rate of increase in crimes is a cause of concern for all the residents.Our Municipality wants waking up;perhaps a little publicity will do no harm.

The working women who sometimes come late are also scared and no parents want their children to go outside.

Is this the India our forefathers dreamt of?

Government should take effective steps to avoid the problem because constitution of India protects its citizen from any type of discrimination.
