dear friend,
i am writing this letter to give you great news on my newly purchased house. I hope you are doing well and sorry for not being in touch for such a long time. I was too busy in moving [in]to [our] new house.

As you know, our old house was not that specious[spacious] and had only two bedrooms. With [the] addition [of] my baby girl[,] we needed a bigger house. [Our old] Neighborhood was also not that great and it was very far from Ben's office. It took [a ] long time to buy this new house,{I think "long time to find" is better - it sounds like you are saying the buying process itself was long} but believe me this is [a ]great one! My son is very happy to be at this new house. We have 3 specious[spacious] bedrooms, a big size[large] living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. My baby girl has a great space to crawl [around]. It has a small backyard with a pet[dog] house for our doggy.
