Q. Write the lowest rationalising factor of √18 - √50.

= √18 - √50

= √ ( 2 × 3 × 3 ) - √ ( 2 × 5 × 5 )

= 3 √2 - 5 √2.

= √2 ( 3 - 5 )

= √2 ( -2 )

= -2 √2

And its rationalising factor will be √2.

The answer is √2.

Hope it helps !

Answer:

√2

Step-by-step explanation:

first do both LCM then take the common out and

you will get 3√2-5√2 =√2(-2)

therefore the least rationalising factor is √2
