Functions of :
- Its main function is to allow material to enter and leave the cell through tiny holes.
Other function:
- It also provides shape to the cell and also protects the cell.
- The main function of chloroplast is to provide green pigment to the leaf. It plays important role in photosynthesis process.
- The main function of mitochondria is to produce the energy from the food.
[ Mitochondria is also called "power house of the cell" because of the above function.]
- The main function of ribosomes is to synthesis proteins as it is found on the surface of the rough endoplasmic reticulum(RER) and hence synthesise proteins.
- Lysosome's main function is to destroy the foreign material or waste materials, and also
- When the cell gets damaged,it bursts and eat up its own cells.
