:Atom=An atom is a particle of matter that uniquely defines a chemical element. An atom consists of a central nucleus that is usually surrounded by one or more electrons. ... The nucleus is positively charged, and contains one or more relatively heavy particles known as protons

Elements= A substance that cannot be broken down into simpler substances by chemical means. An element is composed of atoms that have the same atomic number, that is, each atom has the same number of protons in its nucleus as all other atoms of that element.

METALS Metals are opaque, lustrous elements that are good conductors of heat and electricity. Most metals are malleable and ductile and are, in general, denser than the other elemental substances

NON METAL non-metals are elements on the right of the periodic table. Non-metals can be gases, liquids or solids. Non-metals are dull in colour, not shiny like metals. You can't hammer or shape a non-metal; it will just shatter if you hit it. Sulphur is an example of a non-metal.

MALLEABILITY Malleability describes the property of a metal's ability to be distorted below compression. It is a physical property of metals by which they can be hammered, shaped and rolled into a very thin sheet without rupturing. A malleable fabric could be planate by blow or rolling.
