To Find :- The supplement of angle 85 ?

Concept used :- Two angles are called supplementary when their measures add up to 180° .

Solution :-

Let us assume that, The supplement of angle 85 is x .

So,

→ First angle = 85°

→ Second angle = x

then,

→ First angle + Second angle = 180°

→ 85° + x = 180°

taking 85° to the RHS side and changing positive sign into negative,

→ x = 180° - 85°

→ x = 95° (Ans.)

Hence, the measure of the supplement of angle 85 is equal to 95° .
