The moral value we learnt from the poem 'the ant and the cricket' is that we should always be ready to face the future because we don't know what it surprise it has for us. We shouldn't waste our time having fun but work hard to be prepared for whatever surprise the future holds for us.

answer: The moral of the poem 'the ant and the cricket' is that " if we enjoy today then we will surely suffer tomorrow" as in the poem the cricket just sung day and night in the summer but the ants did work day and night. So now, in the winter the cricket is suffering
