SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The multiplicative inverse of

\displaystyle\sf{ - 1 \times  -  \frac{2}{5} }

EVALUATION

Here the given number is. \displaystyle\sf{ - 1 \times  -  \frac{2}{5} }

Now

\displaystyle\sf{ - 1 \times  -  \frac{2}{5} }

\displaystyle\sf{  =  \frac{2}{5} }

We know that the multiplicative inverse of a ( ≠ 0 ) is \displaystyle\sf{  =  \frac{1}{a}  }

Hence the required multiplicative inverse

\displaystyle\sf{  =  \frac{1}{ \frac{2}{5} } }

\displaystyle\sf{  = \frac{5}{2} }
