Alkyne is an unsaturated hydrocarbon ,that consist of triple covalent bond example of this is ethyn that consist of two pi-bond ,formed as a result of over lapping of two unhybridize p-orbital that are placed directly opposite to each other and one stigma covalent bond. The hybridization for this is sp3
CnH2n-2 is the standard formula for alkynes.
