There are FIVE TYPES OF PLANT HORMONE
1) AUXIN: It promotes cell growth
2) GIBBERELLIN: It induces internodal elongation even in genetically dwarf Plants and cause elongation of stems is rosette plants.
3) CYTOKININ: It promotes cell division and hence naturally present in greater concentration in the areas of rapid cell division.
4) ABSCISIC ACID (ABA): It inhibits growth
5) ETHYLENE: It promotes fruit ripening.
