There were three ministers in the 1946 Cabinet mission. ""Lord Pethick-Lawrence"", ""Sir Stafford Cripps"", and ""Mr A.V. Alexander"" are the people who came to India and met with the Indian leaders for the negotiation on the early settlement of the Indian constitutional issue.
The negotiations were administered on behalf of the ""Congress"" which was by “Abul Kalam Azad” and he was aided by ""Jawaharlal Nehru"" and ""Patel"".
Apart from these, Gandhiji was also consulted frequently.
The members were came to find the solution on the ""Partition of India"", after the demand by Muslim party for a separate country (Pakistan).
