Answer :- carbon and oxygen

Explanation:- All the living organisms require nutrients for maintaining their life by drawing the energy from food. Plants also do the same.

On the basis of quantity needed, nutrients are divided into two types-

1) Macronutrients :- The nutrients that are required in large quantities are called macronutrients. For example- Nitrogen.

2) Micronutrients :- The nutrients required by plants in low quantities are called micronutrients. For example- Copper.

These nutrients are supplied to the plants via soil, air and water.

Since we know the air contains nitrogen, carbon dioxide and air but the nitrogen cannot be taken directly from air. This can be taken by the cycle called nitrogen cycle which fix the nitrogen in soil.

The other two nutrients remaining carbon and oxygen are taken from air.
