Two types of "nerve processes" are sensory processes and motor processes.
Explanation:
Sensory process or functions are the actions that the sensory nerves perform due to the change occur outside of the body such as such as reflex action. The body act against the external variations such as change in temperature, touch light and sound.
Reflex action is the action done against stimuli. For example when we touch a very hot surface we remove our hand without even looking at the object. Motor processes are performed by Motor nerves that send the 'signals' from the brain to the required muscle.
For example, if you want to hold a glass of water, then the brain send signal to the hand muscle and tell how much force to apply.
