Write the names of five minerals and the useful substances obtained from them.

The name of the five minerals with there uses are ⇒

1. Coal. 
It is known as the Black gold and very useful for the generation of the Electricity, ammonia, Sulphur tar, etc. 

2. Iron ore. 
It is one of the Minerals found in India and Useful fir the Iron and the Steel Industries in India. Iron ore is also used for making some medicines and the great use of it is involved in the transportation. 

3. Manganese. 
This minerals are used for making the Dry cells and also used in strengthen the Iron in Industries. 

4. Bauxite. 
It is the Ore of the Aluminum which is used for the transportation, and also used in the Electrical Industries as it is the good conductors of the Electricity.

5. Petroleum.
It is known as the liquid gold and used for the Power generation and also used for making fuel which are used for transportation.

Minerals are inorganic ,solid, crystalline substances formed naturally in the Earth.
The name of five minerals and the useful substances obtained from them are as follows :
1.ALUMINIUM : It is the most abundant Minerals in the earth's crust. The ore of aluminium is Bauxite. It is used in automobiles ,airplanes, canning industries, bottling industries, electrical industries etc.

2.COPPER : It is used in wires, electric cables, heating elements ,switches, plumbing, roofing materials, electronic equipments, coins, jewellery etc.

3.GOLD : It is used in jewellery, arts, dentistry, medicine, coins, electronic instruments, electrolyte etc.

4.ZINC : It is used in rubber and paint industries as chemical compounds, alloying metal to make brass with copper, protective coating in steel, die casting, electroplating, automotive parts, electrical fuses, dry cell batteries, etc.

5. COBALT : It is used in corrosion and abrasion resistant alloys for the production of industrial engines with steel,nickel. It's salt are used to produce blue colour in paint pigments, pottery, porcelain and glass. It is used as cutting tools.
