Equator zone receive maximum sunlight and have worm climate. So, all places of equator is not favourable for snow fall.
Only few places of mountains in equator gets snow fall. Thereason is at higher elevations and highaltitude in mountains, the temperature is cool.
There are a few mountain peaks that are high enough and suitable climatically for snowfall.
The following mountains get snowfalls:
Mount. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Cayambe in Equator, Mount Cotacachi also in Equator, and Mount Kenya in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, are well-known for getting cold enough to have snow.
