Potato, sweet potato, ginger (rhizome), colacasia (corms), onion (bulbs), lily (bulbs), radish, carrot, beets, turnips, sweet corn etc., are some examples of stem tubers. The food is prepared in the leaves and is stored in phloem also. This process is called photosynthesis.
