Eye piece:- It consists the eyepiece exactly above the objective lens and   is used to look through the specimen.

The Adjustment knobs:-  Adjustment knobs are used to focus the microscope. There are two types of adjustment knobs one is fine adjustment knobs and other is coarse adjustment knobs.

Objective lenses:- These are the major lenses useful in visualization. On one microscope, there are about 1- 4 objective lenses placed. Some are rare facing and others face forward and  every lens has its own magnification power.

Illuminator: A steady light source is  used in place of a mirror. If microscope has a mirror, then it is used to reflect light from an external light source.
