Rhombencephalon or hindbrain is the developmental categorization portions in central nervous system on the vertebrates.


Hindbrain includes the following areas that include Pons, Cerebellum and Medulla.


Pons helps in respiration, Modulla obalangata is mainly involved in the coughing, sneezing, vomiting, and involuntary action.


Cerebellum maintains the posture in the body.
