Shivaji Maharaj was well known for his possession of 370 forts. He had a well-disciplined army and he was popular for his paramilitary warfare techniques. Panhala, Raigad, Pratapgad and Sindhudurg forts are still intact which gives huge information regarding the brave and courageous king of Marathas, Shivaji Maharaj.

Vijay Durg is the ancient fort which was snatched and seized from Adil shah and named it Vijay Durg which is surrounded by ocean on all four sides

Sindhudurg is another sea fort which occupies an island in the sea. The foot and palm prints of the great Shivaji Maharaj is intact even today.
