Natural Numbers :-

Counting numbers are called natural numbers.

Examples : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, . . . . . etc.

Whole Numbers :-

All natural numbers together with 0 (zero) are called whole numbers.

Examples : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, . . . . etc.

Integers :-

All numbers, 0 and negatives of counting numbers are called integers.

Examples : -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, . . . . . etc.

Rational Numbers :-

The numbers of the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0, are called rational numbers.

Examples : 3/-4, -6/17, -8/-3, 2/5, -3/7.

Irrational Numbers :-

The real numbers which cannot be represented by a simple fraction are called irrational numbers.

Examples : √2, √3, √5, √7, √11, . . . . . etc.

Natural number :-

A natural number is a number that occurs commonly and obviously in nature .

Example :- 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Whole number :-

The whole numbers are the part of the number system in which it includes all the positive integers from 0 to infinity .

Example :- 0, 11, 25, 36, 999, 1200

Integers :-

integers are the numbers which can be positive, negative or zero, but cannot be a fraction.

Example :- 1, 2, 5, 8, -9, -12

Rational number :-

a rational number is a type of real numbers, which is in the form of p/q where q is not equal to zero.

Example :-

 \frac{1}{2} , \frac{3}{2} , \frac{1}{6} , \frac{8}{1} , \frac{11}{3}

Irrational Number :-

Irrational numbers are the real numbers that cannot be represented as a simple fraction. It cannot be expressed in the form of a ratio, such as p/q, where p and q are integers, q≠0.

Example :-

\sqrt{5},  \sqrt{11} , \sqrt{12} , \sqrt{15} , \sqrt{7}
