As per the question, the focal length of the concave mirror [f] = 10 cm.

The object is present between 15 cm and 25 cm.

The radius of curvature of the mirror [R ] = 2f

                                                                   = 2×10 cm

                                                                   = 20 cm.

Hence, the object may be present in three ways.

[1] Let the object is present after 20 cm. It means the object is present between infinity and 2f.

Hence, the nature of the image will be real, inverted. The image will be formed between f and 2f. So, the image will be smaller as compared to object.

[2] Let the object is present at 20 cm i.e at the centre of curvature .

Hence, the image will be real, inverted, and will be formed at the centre of curvature. The object height will be equal to image height.

[3] Let the image is formed between 20 cm and 15 cm i.e between f and 2f.

Hence, the image will be real, inverted. The image will be formed between infinity and 2f. So, the image will be magnified .
