2x² - 4x + 3 = 0

a = 2, b = -4, c = 3

D=b²-4ac

=(-4)²-4 x 2 x 3

= 16 - 24

= -8

Since D is negative, the roots are imaginary.

using

B square - 4 A × C eqn__1

{ ¤ }this symbol is used for square

Step-by-step explanation:

step1 a=2 b=-4 c=3

put this value in eqn 1

step2 = -4¤-4 (2)(3)

= 16-8×3

= 16-24

= -8
