the man has not left any domain of Earth in its natural state.the land water and even the space is littered with garbage.millions of animals die by having their oesophagus blocked from plastic waste. fishes in our oceans, rivers and seas have to endure this all also. the rising rate of oil spills in oceans and seas and the great quantity of waste dumped in rivers are a threat to the fishes residing there. the major cause of danger faced by fishes is that we humans knowing what we are doing are not stopping it. Some fishes are getting extinct . this exctintion does a major harm to natural food chain. it is better if we stop before the time runs out.

hi mate,

according to news the National Academy of Sciences estimated that ocean-based sources, such as cargo ships and cruise liners had dumped 14 billion pounds of garbage into the ocean. Over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed by pollution every year.

Water pollution harms fish populations in various ways. ... Algal blooms can be harmful to fish as they feed upon algae, toxins accumulate within the fish, and when a predator fish consumes that fish, they too are consuming higher toxin levels. Pesticides and heavy metals that enter waterways can also harm or kill fish.

If untreated water keeps getting pumped into the lakes, it would soon contaminate groundwater resources, as is evident from the higher nitrate levels in the borewells in the vicinity of polluted lakes in Bengaluru. ... The fish would have got very weak because of the ammonia,” says Jamwal, who studies water pollution.

I hope it helps you.
