Women had a very important role in the french revolution. They thought that their involvement would pressurize the revolutionary government to introduce measures to improve their lives.Most of the women from the 3rd estate worked as laundresses, they sold flowers,furits and vegetables, they were also employed as domestic servants at prosperous people's house. They then started some political clubs. The most successful was The society of Revolutionary and Republican women. The revolutionary government did introduce some laws to improve their lives such as schooling was compulsory,no one can force them to got married,divorce were legal, they was getting trained for certain jobs. Finally in 1946 they got the right to vote
