An atom is a particle of matter that uniquely defines achemical element. An atomconsists of a central nucleus that is usually surrounded by one or more electrons. Each electron is negatively charged. The nucleus is positively charged, and contains one or more relatively heavy particles known as protons and neutrons.
A molecule is an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds. Molecules are distinguished from ions by their lack of electrical charge. ... Atoms and complexes connected by non-covalent interactions, such as hydrogen bonds or ionic bonds, are generally not considered single molecules.

Hey its not so complicated...

An atom is a smallest unit of molecules as we know that the wall is a combination of bricks so in molecules atoms are as unit or bricks to build up of a molecules.

A molecule is a group of atoms which are attached through a bond . they form bond because they want to stable in universe by sharing or transfer of electron to their valence shell to complete their valency.
