Answer: convex

convex lens is used as a magnifying glass. A concave mirror is used as a shaving mirror. A convex mirror is used as rear view mirror in vehicles.

concave mirror is used as reflector in torch, search lights, head lights of vehicles to get powered parallel beam of light. (2) A concave mirror is also used as a doctor's head mirror to focus light on body parts like eye, ear, nose etc. to be examined.
