write the ordinate of the point of intersection of the graph of the equation 3x-4y =9 on the y-axis.

Hey mate..

To find its ordinate on y -axis put x = 0

=>. y = - 9 / 4 = itz ordinate

In y - axis the coordinates would be 0,y

3 x - 4 y = 9 is the equation of the line

Put x = 0 in the equation

==> 3 ( 0 ) - 4 y = 9

==> - 4 y = 9

==> y = -9/4

The ordinate is -9/4
