The Annual Social Service Camp was organized for the children of Gyanmata Adivasi Madhyamik Ashram Vidyalaya, Zari, Talasari from 25th to 27th July, 2019. The members of the PTA came together to extend their time, talents and resources to ensure that around 200 children (boys and girls) from Talasari went back with pleasant memories to cherish. Besides organizing a movie, boat ride and a magic show, arrangements were also made to take children to visit some landmarks in the city such as The Nehru Planetarium, Nehru Science Centre, Chowpatty and the Gateway of India.
On Friday, 26th July, 2019 the boys of class 9 spent time from 8.30 to 11.30 AM interacting with children. Besides organizing team games, game stalls and entertainment, Campionites also went a step further to build a connection with the visiting children by getting to know their background, lifestyles and hardships. To the Campionites it was a valuable experience as this mingling helped them empathise and come to grips with the harsh reality of over 80% children who study in rural schools.
We have got so good fate that we are able to get almost everything which we want, and the neccessary things we got without asking but in the world only near about 65%person came with such a good destiny and the left 45%need to work so hard to get themselves fed . And as a human helping shows our humanity .
Few days ago there was a social service camp in our school where some students were take for the camping by our school, though we all participated only 65 to 70 percent children were took there ,when I in that camping saw the needy and their need I really had goosebumps, they didn't need anything for other than living , though it was a charity but I realize the run of life need of depending upon yourself.
