Neuron is the structural and functional unit of nervous system.
neurons which can detect, receive and transmit different kinds of stimuli .
A neuron is a microscopic st. composed of 3 major parts namely cell body, dendrites and axon. n cell body contains cytoplasm with cell organelles
Axon is a long fibre and it's end is branched

neuron is the structural and functional unit of nervous system there are three components of neurons-axon,cell body dendrite the axon conducts messages away from the cell body the dendrite recieves information from the next cell and conducts it towards the cell cell body. the cell body contains the nucleus,mitochondria and other organells it is mainly concered with maintainance and growth of the cell.
