The main numbers are = 372814 and 56082431

The underlined digit of the first number = 2

The underlined digit of the second number = 8

To find,

The place value and face value of the underlined digits of the main numbers.

Solution,

The face value of a digit of a number can be represented by that digit itself.

So,

Face value of the underlined digit of first number = 2

Face value of the underlined digit of second number = 8

And, the place value of a digit offer number can be represented by the position of the digit, in the following way -

The underlined digit is in 1000th place of the first number, the place value will be -

= 2×1000

= 2000

The underlined underlined digit is in 10000th place of the second number, the place value will be,

= 8×10000

= 80000

Hence, the place value and face value of the underlined digit of the first number are 2000 and 2. The place value and face value of the underlined digit of the second number are 80000 and 8.
